Living Light of Peace Church is a Christ-centered congregation, rooted in Anabaptist teachings, and dedicated to living the Good News of God’s hope, peace, joy, and love in our community and world.
Our Purpose
We are a welcoming and affirming community who seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit as we try really hard to follow the teachings of Jesus in:
Searching for answers together
Working for justice, nonviolence, and creation care
Serving with compassion to those who feel marginalized.
This Sunday @ LLP Church

Join us Sunday at 10:00 AM
This month we will be focusing on Being God’s Church by studying the book of Esther. Esther is the only book in the Bible that doesn’t mention God, but it is a story where you can see the fingerprints of God all over it. In many ways in life we don’t overtly feel God’s presence but we can see God’s fingerprints when looking back.

School Kits
Every year we pack at least 100 backpacks full of school supplies for Mennonite Central Committee. These are then assembled by us in October and dropped off at the Mennonite Annual Relief Sale to be shipped all over the world. You can find more information here: School kits | Mennonite Central Committee.

Food Drive for Community Table
Every year we partner with the Arvada Interfaith Ministries to collect 4 or more tons of food to donate. What should you donate? Shelf stable food (cans, dry pasta, etc.) and personal care items (toothpaste, grocery bags, etc.). If you would like to know more about Community Table visit them here: Community Table.
ALL ABOUT JESUS
What We Believe
We believe that God exists and is pleased with all who draw near by faith. We worship the one holy and loving God who is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit eternally. We believe that God has created all things visible and invisible, has brought salvation and new life to humanity through Jesus Christ, and continues to sustain the church and all things until the end of the age.

God Is Love
Every human being is made in the image of God and therefore God wants a relationship with everyone.

Everyone is Welcome
We welcome all to come into our church community. We are allies of the LGBTQIA+ community. Jesus didn’t hate and neither do we.

Peace is from God
Led by the Holy Spirit, we follow Christ in the way of peace, doing justice, bringing reconciliation, and practicing nonresistance even in the face of violence and warfare.
Get Prayer
We would love to pray for you and believe in the power of prayer.

THE CHURCH
We are a church that believes that all people matter
Hey,
Dwight and Rebecca Scull, co-pastors of Living Light of Peace here.
We firmly believe that every human being is made in the image of God and has a unique purpose to fulfill.
You matter and have a unique calling.
Maybe you already know what that calling is, maybe you have been running from that calling (Dwight did for a long time), or maybe you have absolutely no idea where to even start….
We want to help you find your purpose and calling in life and faith.
